Parking options

Because of ongoing construction around the Black Smoke site in Antwerp, we’ve hooked you up with a few FREE parking options – yep, free, baby!

  • P COVELIERSGEBOUW (Boomgaardstraat 22) Free – get your code after your restaurant visit (on your receipt).
    How it works: drive in, the barrier opens automatically. When picking up your car, enter the code to open the gate, drive up the ramp, hit the button to reopen the gate, and enter the code again at the exit barrier.

If both lots are full, just give us a call at the number posted on-site and we’ll help you out (+32 471 84 15 35). Please note: cars can’t stay parked for longer than 6 hours.

Still no luck finding a spot? No worries – you can park on the street (dark green zone): from 9 AM to 7 PM (or 10 PM in evening-parking zones) it’s €1.20 + €1.60 for each additional hour.

Black Smoke is easy to reach coming from the train station Antwerp Central and Antwerp Berchem.

Antwerp Central: take tram 15 at the stop ‘Diamant’ in the direction of Boechout. You get off at the stop ‘De Merode’. You can also take tram 6 to Olympiade or tram 2 in the direction of Hoboken and get off at the stop ‘Harmonie’.

Antwerp Berchem: the train station is located at 1.3 km from Black Smoke. Leave the train station through the back. Go right and take the first street on your left. This is the Boomgaardstraat. Follow this street until you find Black Smoke on your right-hand side. If you wanna go by bus, you can take line 30, direction South, at the train station and get off at the stop ‘Haringrodestraat’.

Bus lines 30 and 34: get off at the stop ‘Haringrodestraat’. This stop is located directly in front of the Coveliers building. Take the Boomgaardstraat and find our space at your left-hand side.

Tram lines 7 and 15: get off at the stop ‘De Merode’. This stop is located about 50 m away from the Coveliers building. Take the Boomgaardstraat and find our space at your left-hand side.

Tram lines 2 and 6 and bus 17, 191 and 507: get off at the stop ‘Harmonie’. This stop is located about 150 m away from the County Hall (Provinciehuis). Keep walking on the Mechelsesteenweg with the park on your right-hand side. Take the second street on your left. This is the Boomgaardstraat.

Bike stations ‘De Merode’, ‘Haringrode’ and ‘Harmonie’ are located in the immediate surroundings of Black Smoke.
